Patchborn: The Dungeon Glitch Ascendant
When overworked QA tester Eli Voss dies during a studio crunch, he wakes inside the very kind of system apocalypse game he used to break for a living. The world of Aetherfall runs on visible stats, class evolutions, raid bosses, and lethal dungeons dropped from the sky. Everyone else sees a divine System. Eli sees what it really is: buggy, exploitable, and held together by hidden rules no ordinary player can read. After surviving his first tutorial by triggering a forbidden error state, he gains a broken starter class—Patchborn—that lets him identify exploits, rewrite skill interactions, and absorb fragments of failed monsters.
But Aetherfall is not just a game world. It is a live battlefield where kingdoms are farmed for resources, guilds monopolize level zones, and the celestial Architects behind the System are preparing a server-wide reset. To survive, Eli must build a party from the people the meta ignores: a tank with a cursed skill tree, a healer marked for deletion, and a rival prodigy whose class should not exist. Every victory gives Eli more power—and paints a larger target on his back. If he wants to stop the reset, he will have to do what no player, hero, or king has ever done: break the System before it patches him out.
