Respawn Architect
When burned-out indie developer Milo Vance dies beneath a collapsing convention center, he wakes in Asterfall: a beautiful, brutal world running on rules stolen from the unfinished game he abandoned. A glowing interface crowns him with the worst starting class imaginable—Architect, a noncombat builder class with no weapons, no spells, and a death timer ticking down from thirty days. The System offers one path to survival: claim territory, build a dungeon, and feed it monsters before the moon eats his soul.
But Asterfall is not a game. His first party is made of people with scars, secrets, and stat sheets that bleed. Every upgrade draws the attention of rival guilds, divine moderators, and raid bosses that remember past lives. Milo can reshape rooms, craft traps, and rewrite battlefield terrain in real time—but to become powerful, he must turn his sanctuary into the most tempting deathtrap in the realm.
And somewhere beyond the skybox, something is patching the world to make sure he loses.
