Respawn King of the Godless Dungeon

When washed-up esports prodigy Cassian Vale dies during a failed VR tournament comeback, he wakes beneath a black sky in the Everdeep: a living dungeon-world where cities cling to cavern walls, gods are dead, and every soul is trapped inside an ancient System that rewards violence, secrets, and impossible risks. Cassian receives the worst starting class in the tutorial, Gravebound Novice, along with one broken ability: he respawns at the site of his last death—but each resurrection leaves something hungry staring back through the cracks.

Forced to survive goblin sieges, cursed loot, rival player-kings, and bosses designed to break parties instead of bodies, Cassian builds an unlikely crew from the dungeon’s discarded: a debt-ridden healer, a berserker princess, a cowardly mimic, and a necromancer who insists she is retired. To escape the Everdeep, they must climb downward through nine god-corpses, steal forbidden classes, and challenge the System’s hidden administrator before Cassian’s respawns awaken the thing buried beneath his soul.
