The Hero Who Outsourced the Demon Lord
When exhausted app developer Milo Finch dies after accidentally automating his own job, he wakes up in the glittering kingdom of Valoria—summoned as the Chosen Hero destined to defeat the Demon Lord. Unfortunately, the summoning circle makes one tiny mistake: instead of granting Milo legendary swordsmanship, it gives him the Divine Interface, a reality-bending productivity app that lets him assign quests, create task boards, issue magical contracts, and level up anyone who completes his to-do lists.
Milo has no interest in charging into certain death, so he does what any sensible corporate survivor would do: he delegates. Soon his party includes a debt-ridden dragon princess, a terrifyingly competent saintess, a demon spy who keeps getting promoted, and a goblin accountant with revolutionary ideas about taxation. Together, they transform a ruined border town into the fastest-growing startup kingdom in history.
But as Milo accidentally becomes rich, beloved, and politically dangerous, he discovers the Demon Lord may not be the real villain—and his Divine Interface has a hidden administrator with very questionable patch notes.
