The Last Safe Zone
When the sky fractures over Denver and a black System interface brands every human alive, Elias Voss is trapped beneath a collapsing hospital with a dying paramedic, a room full of screaming patients, and something crawling through the ventilation ducts. The rules are simple: survive the first wave, awaken a class, and reach a designated Safe Zone before midnight. Anyone outside the blue walls when the countdown ends belongs to the monsters.
Elias should have died years ago in the war that left him with a ruined leg, a dead unit, and a talent for making ugly choices. Instead, the System offers him a class no one else can see: Gravebound Sentinel, a progression path fueled by death, oaths, and the ghosts of those he fails to save. As factions rise inside the Safe Zone and the monster waves grow smarter, Elias discovers the System is not here to test humanity—it is here to harvest the worlds that resist it.
To save what remains, Elias must build a faction out of refugees, criminals, and broken survivors before the Safe Zone becomes a slaughterhouse from within.
