    Hello, dear dragons.

It’s been a while. Nearly two years since my last post to announce the webtoon’s launch, and nearly four since the series concluded on Royal Road. It’s crazy how much things have changed since then.

During those years, I’ve regularly received messages asking about the fate of the last Vainqueur audiobook; the four volume series has been left incomplete for a while, mostly because its narrator Jack Voraces was fully booked with recording Apocalypse Tamer.

After a very long struggle, I’m happy to announce that Audible has finally, finally made the audiobook available. A preorder is now open, with the audiobook itself being released on March 19th.

I admit I’m relieved. Vainqueur’s publication history has been a tumultuous journey. A full webtoon had time to be released until the audio series could conclude, and I’ve completed four or five other series since. Crazy how fast time flies by.

Otherwise, now that the final audiobook is finally about to hit the shelves… I’ve decided to go through with a difficult decision I have been considering for some time.

Namely, I will soon put Vainqueur on Kindle Unlimited. Likely on April 1st, with a final crossover chapter in partnership with some other authors.

I’ve gone through the reasons in other posts, but basically, they’re the same ones that caused me to put Never Die Twice on KU: everyone who wanted to read the story already has; it’s slowly losing visibility; and the LitRPG market on KU (which is currently rather profitable) is slowly getting overcrowded.

Love this novel? Read it on Royal Road to ensure the author gets credit.

Basically, when Vainqueur came out years ago, it manager to reach as high as the third place of Best Rated and stayed on the front page for a while. Years later, it’s now ranked 31st and slowly slipping down the first page. It’s no more among the top 5 completed, which secures visibility on mobile devices on the site’s front page, and it’s likely to disappear completely within a year’s time. That’s just erosion at work.
