[ARC 1] Chapter 2 – The Sunrise in the Prison
by“Idiot!”
Was it the ringing in his head from a tough night that would wake him up? Or was it the sunshine from the prison bar window?
What had woken Remy up was a punch of love from his master that had blasted his head through the rocky grounds of the prison. Remy pushed to pull his head from the ground. Gravel sprinkled from his hair to the ground.
His master, Morgan, stood above him like the God of Fury. White hair tied in a ponytail. She had a youthful face of a young woman, but with a gaze of wisdom mixed with anger. She wore simple clothes, a tanktop and a black pants. She had mural tattooed on her left arm, that she once told him were portraits of a great battle she once took part of.
She claimed to have been the only survivor of it.
This was his master. The woman once known as the Ogre of Hollowdale. From the stories told, and the title, many thought of her as a hulking man, but she was indeed a woman.
That didn’t discount the stories of bloodbath, because Remy had no doubts that they were all real.
She grabbed him by the throat, and lifted him up in the air, and he was met with a face that only a demon could make.
“You were thinking of something rude, weren’t you?” She asked.

“Yes.”
“I admire your honest. Which is why, I will make this hurt less.” She hit him deep in the stomach, and he could feel her blow ripple throughout his body.
Remy gasped and trembled. She let him go, and he floundered like a fish gasping for air. She did not stop there. She stomped in the same spot she and punched him in, and grinding and digging her foot in his gut.
“You damn woman! I thought you said you’d take it easy on me!” Remy said, his throat tight.
She leaned in. “I am being nice. Do you know what I went through? All night, I had to talk to the Guildmaster, the Count, the Mayor, and even some of those douchebags they call heroes. Many of them wanted to strip you of your rank. Instead, I was able to stop them.”
She pulled her foot away from him and turned. He gasped the pain started to fade away and he was able to sit up. He rubbed his gut.
