The Echo Before Dawn

When a distant colony on the ice moon Halcyon begins receiving a signal that mathematically predicts tomorrow’s disasters, linguist-astrophysicist Dr. Mira Sato is pulled into a race against extinction. The message is impossible: it is encoded in her own long-lost brother’s voice, and it names events that have not happened yet. As the colony’s ore reserves fail, storms swallow habitats, and panic fractures the settlement, Mira discovers the signal is not a warning at all—it is a delivery mechanism, carrying fragments of intelligence from a civilization that learned to survive by escaping time itself.

To save Halcyon, Mira must build a conversation with an alien presence that may be future human, ancient machine, or something that predates both.
